3 Phases of Christianity
The Three B's of Christian Life:The three phases of being a Christian
- Believe
The first thing, which is also the entry point into Christianity is salvation. Salvation as it is, is the central theme of the bible. Reconciliation to God, our original source.
For by one man(Adam) sin came into the world and all by this all have sinned and have fall short of the Glory of God but whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
(Romans 5:12 KJV)
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
(Romans 3:23 KJV)
Salvation is a big word of the bible but salvation is not as it is misinterpreted in some generality, confession of sins. Salavtion yes is reconnecting back to the life of God, restoring relationship with the Father, and simply involves ONLY, according to Romans 10:9-10, confessing with your mouth the Lordship of Jesus Christ and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead, gbam, lobatan.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
(Romans 10:9-10 KJV)
Someone may ask, is it that simple?! Yes, it is. Just that and you are saved.

- Belong
After believing, you must belong. You must locate a Doctrinal, Sound teaching, Spirit believing, Bible believing and Bible practising, Holy ghost manifesting Church, where emphasis is laid on the in-depth but simple and clear teaching of the word. Belonging to a local assembly. Church is not just a building, church is not an event to attend, in the sense of saying "i just attend there for sunday service.
Church is a family to belong to. You have to belong to a spiritual family, church is a spiritual family. Church is not a place to attend, so that when people ask you say "i attend so so and so church, No! You belong there, to a church, a spiritual family.
“God setteth the solitary in families:”
(Psalms 68:6 KJV)
Church is the same as your home, people wont ask you if you attend No. so so, so so street, so so area [your home address]. As your home is not somewhere you attend, so is church. You dont say you attend a church, you say you belong. As you leave anywhere and say you are going home to your physical home, so also it is with church. Church also is homecoming, spiritual homecoming.
Belonging doesn't stop at belonging, in that sense. Belonging encompasses constant attendance amd consistent participation.
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
(Hebrews 10:25 KJV)
Why do we belong? It is in belonging that we are blessed. In belonging we are fed. In belonging we are trained for destiny and moulded into what we ought to become.

- Become
When you belong in your local assembly, your spiritual family, and then in that place you become. You are now becoming more like Christ because you're being taught the instructions of the word of God and by the authority of scriptures and doctrine, you are now becoming more like Christ. When you believe you MUST belong, and when you belong you MUST become.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:”
(Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV)
Becoming is very crucial in our lives, which is why Christ when he ascended gave the five fold ministry, for the perfecting of the saints till we all grow up and come unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. In your local church is where you become like Christ, in your spiritual family.
You can't become what you should fully without belonging, as the Word of God admonishes us,
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,”
(Hebrews 10:25 KJV)
God through his word is so so particular about belonging to a local assembly. You can't not just belong to a spiritual family. You can't and shouldn't avoid it. The message version of the bible just puts it right,
“...not avoiding worshiping together”
(Hebrews 10:25 MSG)
You believe in your heart God raised Christ from the and you confess with your mouth his Lordship. You belong to a local assembly, a spiritual family where you are fed from the word, the diet God has for you and is perfect for your life. You become like Christ to come into the fullness of God's plan and purpose for your life.
Believe: Belong: Become.!
