Renew(ing) your Land!!
If you've ever thought about it, you'll recognise the fact that our minds, the human mind is always engaged every second, every minute, every time. Like I usually like to put it, there's never an idle mind.
The mind has no sleep mode, hibernation or shut down mode. It's a processing unit that's always running on million of codes per time. The mind is a very important tool and holds the most powerful driving force on a man's life and The Word puts it,
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”
Proverbs 4:23 KJV

See your mind as a peice of land, and your thoughts as seeds. What seeds are you planting 🌱 in your mind?! What seeds should you plant 🌱 in your mind?! Apostle Paul admonishes us in his letter to the phillipians,
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Philippians 4:8 KJV

Hmmm, whatsoever things are honest, just, pure, lovely, are of good report, be of vitue, be of praise, think on these things!! How and where can one find all these?! 🤔 Quite simple, in The Word, the only perfect and pristine instruction manual of life. James couldn't have put it better,
“But whoever catches a glimpse of the revealed counsel of God—the free life!—even out of the corner of his eye, and sticks with it, is no distracted scatterbrain but a man or woman of action. That person will find delight and affirmation in the action.”
James 1:25 MSG

The key thing is, the only simple way is to let the spirit of God take over coding the program of your mind because as a believer your system should be running on the zeros (0s) and ones(1s) [binary] of God. And the best manual is The Word. You do not know how to think until you subject your mind to the way of the word.

Per adventure, you've planted 🌱 the wrong seeds or weeds are overtaking your land(mind). God can change you from the inside out. You simply renew your land as we see in romans 12,
“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
Romans 12:2 KJV

Of course, the wind will oftentimes blow bad seeds of wrong thoughts unto your land. You may not be able to avoid this but you can resist the seeds(thoughts) being planted 🌱 on your land by taking authority over the things that enter into your mind as apostle Paul says in his second letter to the church in corinth,
“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV
So, take a moment to review the things planted 🌱 in your mind today, pull out the wrong ones in the name of Jesus and plant the seeds of Life.
Whatsoever things are honest, just, pure, lovely, are of good report, be of vitue, be of praise, meditate on these things!! Meditate on The Word and keep renewing your land!!
